Ever since I came across this black and white photo series of a little girl and her tomcat, I can’t stop looking at them. Aren’t they just magical? Four-year-old Catherine and her cat companion, Lilu look like they could take over the world. These fabulous photos were captured by Catherine’s father, photographer Andy Prokh.

Have you seen this? If not, get ready to say, “awww” over and over again! When I came across these pictures the other night, I squealed with laughter and then immediately got teary-eyed. 88-year-old Misao and her best furry friend, Fukumaru are just the cutest.
Their heartwarming friendship is documented in Misao the Big Mama and Fukumaru the Cat, a photo book that was shot by Misao’s granddaughter, Miyoko Ihara.
This excerpt is absolutely fantastic:
“Partly because they are both hard of hearing, my grandmother and Fukumaru are always looking into each other’s eyes. They’re really close”

The last two months have been crazy busy for me! A lot has gone on in my little life.
May and June went by so fast! I finished up my school course, saw some fabulous summer concerts, decided to move out of my apartment, started freelancing, went to a wedding, took a road trip to see Radiohead in Detroit, and so much more!!
